Tara Linker joined Funk Luetke Skunda Marketing, Inc. in 1997 as account executive. She was named Vice President in 2001. Prior to that Ms. Linker worked as public relations coordinator for The Toledo Hospital, a member of the ProMedica Health System. Before that, she served as public relations coordinator for Owens Community College, Toledo, Ohio.
Tara has substantial experience developing and managing communications programs for healthcare clients. As a senior level advisor, she currently manages all public relations efforts for Mercy Health Partners – a seven-hospital system serving Northwest Ohio and Southeast Michigan - including programs relating to internal communications, special events and projects, as well as specific product line communications.
Tara holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in communications/public relations from the University of Toledo. She is a past member of the planning committee for the American Cancer Society’s inaugural events, CitiFest Board, Greater Toledo Area Big Brothers Big Sisters Marketing Committee, and the Toledo Chapter of Women in Communications. She is a current member of the Toledo Ad Club, Public Relations Society of America, Society of Healthcare Strategy and Market Development, Catholic Charities Marketing Committee, The River Trust Board, National Humane Society, and Ottawa County Humane Society.
