Mark Luetke
president

Mark co-founded Funk Luetke Skunda (then Funk/Luetke Associates) in 1984. In addition to serving as the firm’s chief executive officer, he provides senior-level communications counsel and speaks nationally on topics related to strategic communications planning, media relations, and professional firm marketing. 

Prior to founding FLS, Mark was executive vice president of the public relations firm of Flournoy & Gibbs. He previously worked as manager of public relations for the Toledo-Lucas County Port Authority. 

Mark received a B.Ed. in journalism and social science from the University of Toledo and completed course work toward an M.A. in American Studies at Bowling Green State University. He is accredited in public relations by the Public Relations Society of America and is a member of its Counselor’s Academy.

Mark was selected the 2008 Silver Medal Award Winner by the Advertising Club of Toledo, an honor reserved each year for a professional with outstanding achievements in the advertising field as well as community service.

He is currently an elected member of the Sylvania City Council and served for four years as president and member of the Sylvania Board of Education. He also serves as chairman of the St. Vincent Mercy Medical Center Foundation and is vice chairman of the Toledo-Lucas County Convention and Visitors Bureau.
